First of all, I thank the Lord for leading me to this church. It is a great privilege and a challenge to be part of a church I can call home. The Lord did not just make me a member but a shepherd of his flock.
I am very grateful that I become part of a blessed family of believers whose vision is for the expansion of the work of God; not only in Malaysia but in every part of the world.
I truly believe in God’s perfect timing and plan. As written in Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”
I was in London where I met Pastor Rafael Casela who brought me to FGT and, later enrolled me into the School of Ministry at Tung Ling Malaysia. During this time, I faced a crossroad. I decided to return to the Philippines to plant and start a church. This was not an easy decision as a people around me will be affected, especially my family.
However, I believe I am not alone in this path that I have chosen. God is truly faithful even in my shortcomings.
I really appreciate our senior Pastor and leaders who are very understanding and supportive in the ministry; not only in guidance, but also in financial needs of the church. They have given us autonomy in running the affairs of the church and that helps us to manage the work smoothly.
One of the many reasons why I love serving God in FGT is the privilege of serving the less fortunate, the lost ones and to impart the Word of God into the lives of people in Tondo.
It is an honor to serve together with a group of warm-hearted members and meeting the great leaders of God during the workers conference where we strengthen one another in growing the church.
Finally, I want to thank all the leaders and members of the church who continuously believe, pray and support us even though we have so much more to do to fulfill the Great Commission; that we may be found worthy of His calling.
To God be the glory!
